Montreal, Canada, October 19, 2026 – Introspect Technology, a leading manufacturer of test and measurement products for high-speed applications, is participating in the MIPI I3C Plugfest in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 19 and 20, 2026. Hosted by the MIPI® Alliance, this event offers implementers of MIPI I3C®, I3C Basic™, and related specifications the opportunity to carry out live interoperability testing between multivendor devices from both MIPI members and non-members in a confidential environment.
As a longstanding MIPI Alliance Contributor member, Introspect Technology is driven to participate in interoperability testing efforts towards I3C development. During this event, it offers the world’s top chip and system manufacturers an opportunity to test their devices with Introspect’s SV6E-X Mid-Frequency Digital Test Module and its accompanying I3C PurVue Analyzer™, a real-time embedded oscilloscope, in a live environment. Introspect Technology’s SV6E-X is designed to support the development and validation of I3C and other mid-frequency digital interfaces, while providing advanced capabilities for interoperability testing, protocol analysis, and MIPI Debug for I3C.

This type of testing helps developers verify compatibility between different implementations, identify interoperability issues, and support reliable adoption of the standard across the industry.

Characterization and Test
The I3C Test and Debug Module is a high-performance, ultra-portable tester that provides I3C controller and target capabilities for testing, exercising, and debugging I3C devices and host controllers. Each lane on the Test and Debug Module can act as a primary Controller or Target, or can dynamically change its role based on advanced MIPI I3C requirements. Additionally, the I3C Test and Debug Module leverages Introspect Technology’s unique analog voltage and timing circuitry to create extremely high-resolution analog controls, thus offering a powerful characterization tool during the early phases of product development.
Protocol Exercising and Analysis
The I3C Test and Debug Module supports full protocol exercising and includes advanced features such as in-band interrupts, multi-Controller controls, and dynamic addressing. This — coupled with an ultra-flexible pattern programming environment — allows for validating numerous operating modes and injecting errors at various stages within an I3C state machine. Finally, in addition to capturing traffic from a multi-drop bus, the I3C Test and Debug Module is able to extract state transitions and decode control transactions in hardware.

About MIPI Alliance
MIPI Alliance (MIPI) is a collaborative global organization serving industries that develop mobile and mobile-influenced devices. The focus of the organization is to design and promote hardware and software interfaces that simplify the integration of components built into a device, from the antenna and modem, to peripherals and the application processor. MIPI Alliance crafts all of its specifications to meet the stringent operating conditions required in mobile devices: high-bandwidth performance, low power consumption, and low electromagnetic interference (EMI).
