Montreal, QC, March 5, 2014 — Introspect Technology, maker of innovative products that address the entire multi-Gbps test and measurement instrument experience, today announced it was named a finalist in UBM Tech’s EE Times and EDN Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards (http://ubm-ace.com) for Executive of the Year.
Introspect’s CEO, Dr Mohamed Hafed, was selected as a finalist due to his ingenuity and inspiring leadership. Dr. Hafed and the team of highly skilled developers at Introspect Technology recognized the need for high-speed digital product engineers to conduct more measurements, whether these measurements are for development, bench validation, or production, and this translates into enhanced productivity and profitability. Introspect’s products provide their customers with everything needed to develop and verify high-speed digital algorithms, contained in an ultra-portable test instrument.
“I am extremely honored to be nominated for the 2104 ACE award in the category of Executive of the Year,” said Dr Mohamed Hafed, Introspect Technology CEO. “To be a selected finalist reaffirms that Introspect’s differentiated products are making a clear impact in the marketplace. Our ultimate goal is to improve our customers’ testing environments at all stages of the product creation process, and customer feedback and industry recognition are in agreement with Introspect’s vision.”
The Executive of the Year award goes to an individual who brought leadership, technological and fiscal vision to a company, organization or company division during a calendar year.
EE Times and EDN ACE Awards are presented in 25 categories and are judged by a blue-ribbon panel of industry experts, comprised of the leading voices of academia, industry executives and content experts. The judges will choose winners in all categories except the STEM Impact Award. The winner in this category will be chosen by the EE Times and EDN communities.
“Congratulations and a sincere ‘thank you’ to all our award finalists for the inspiration you continue to provide to the electronics industry at large each and every day,” said Patrick Mannion, VP/Brand Director, UBM Tech, Electronics. “Each year our awards program showcases the unique best of breed products, companies and individuals that have influenced our industry. The 2014 finalists represent the execution of true creativity and progressive technologies that illustrates the influence electronics and embedded design professionals have on today’s culture.”
The Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards celebrate the creators of technology who demonstrate leadership and innovation in the global industry and shape the world we live in. These creators, and their innovations, will be recognized at the EE Times and EDN ACE Awards ceremony on April 1, 2014, as part of UBM Tech’s EE Live! Conference.
