Currently under development, the MIPI® Debug for I3C℠ interface standard is an exciting new invention for the system debug community. Addressing some of the challenges of traditional debug interfaces, this standard leverages the flexibility of the I3C standard to enable debug connectivity on buses that are potentially shared with functional transfers. The result is a dynamic, fast, and pin-efficient interface for debugging various target systems in future applications such as 5G and IoT.

Recognized by MIPI as an outstanding contributor to I3C development and its related debug features, Introspect Technology offers products that enable the transport and analysis of large sets of debug data efficiently and effectively.

Industry Challenges

  • Limited scalability of static debug interfaces
  • Limited availability of pins and buses for debug
  • Limited availability of hardware and software pods for transporting large sets of debug data

Introspect Capability

  • High-performance modules for capturing and transferring Gigabytes of data over an I3C interface
  • Complete stack of hardware and software libraries for integration within existing debug and test flows
  • PurVue Analyzer: Brand new I3C protocol-triggered real-time oscilloscope compatible with SV4E-I3C I3C Test and Debug Module, thus eliminating the need for external active probes or benchtop oscilloscopes.
